The MATECIA National Edition in New Delhi is India’s largest marketplace for interiors and building materials, hosted at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka. The 5th edition in 2025 ran from 21–24 August 2025, spread across about 4.5 lakh sq ft, with 300+ exhibitors and over 55,000 business visitors from 600+ Indian towns and cities and 14 countries, reaffirming its title as the “Maha Kumbh of Interior & Building Products.” Positioned as the National Edition, MATECIA Delhi brings the entire country’s building materials and interiors ecosystem together on one platform, connecting brands with architects, interior designers, builders, OEMs, retailers, distributors, and procurement heads from across India.
MATECIA was envisioned as a marketplace to showcase the strength of India’s manufacturing, distribution, and market ecosystem, with a strong “Make in India” focus. Exhibitors benefit from four days of high‑quality business meetings, new channel development, and pan‑India visibility supported by year‑round media and outreach through SURFACES REPORTER and allied platforms. The National Edition is promoted as “MATECIA National Event, Delhi,” with upcoming 2026 dates announced as 20–23 August 2026 at Yashobhoomi, further cementing Delhi as the central national show.
Architecture is deeply embedded into the National Edition through its co‑location with THE WADE ASIA Architecture Event and the WADE ArchiDesign National Competition. The WADE ArchiDesign National Competition is a major women‑centric architecture and design competition; recent editions have seen thousands of entries, hundreds of shortlisted projects, and multiple categories, making it one of the largest platforms for women in architecture and interior design. At Yashobhoomi’s modern convention and exhibition halls, brands can create immersive booths, full‑scale façade and interior mock‑ups, and experience zones, allowing architects and interior designers to evaluate products in realistic project‑like settings, turning Delhi into a true architecture and design hub during MATECIA.
