Design Galore is a dedicated talent showcase within MATECIA / THE WADE ASIA 2026. It provides young and independent designers an opportunity to exhibit their work on one of India’s leading platforms for architecture, interiors, design, and the built environment.
The showcase will be held from 20–23 August 2026 at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi.
A Platform for Emerging and Established Designers
Design Galore offers emerging designers a professional platform to present their work to a highly relevant audience, including architects, interior designers, developers, hospitality brands, design consultants, manufacturers, and media professionals.
It is designed to enhance visibility, foster industry connections, enable professional feedback, and provide exposure alongside a leading industry exhibition.
Applications are open to:
- Design students
- Recent graduates (2021–2026)
- Independent designers (furniture designers, lighting designers, and installation artists)
Participation is open across India.
Showcasing Furniture, Lighting & Installation Design
Design Galore invites original and innovative work across key disciplines, including furniture design, lighting design, and installation-based creative practices.

A Step by Step Selection Process
- Step 1: Expression of Interest
Applicants submit their work and details via the official application link. - Step 2: Curation & Shortlisting
Submissions are evaluated based on originality, design quality, craftsmanship, and suitability for exhibition. - Step 3: Final Selection
Selected participants are formally confirmed and provided with exhibition guidelines. - Step 4: Installation
Exhibits are installed on 19 August 2026, one day before the exhibition opens. - Step 5: Exhibition
Design Galore runs from 20–23 August 2026 as part of THE WADE ASIA 2026.
Submission Requirements
Applicants must provide:
- Full name and contact details
- College, studio, or organisation name
- 5–10 images of the proposed or completed work
- Brief description including dimensions

Complimentary Participation
There are no application or participation charges for Design Galore 2026. Selected participants will be provided a dedicated display space at the venue free of cost. Participants will only be responsible for transportation of their exhibits and any installation-related requirements.

A Product Only Display Area
Design Galore is a curated showcase. Participants will not be stationed next to their exhibits during the exhibition. However, they will have full access to the event and are encouraged to engage in networking and industry interactions across MATECIA / THE WADE ASIA 2026.
